Highlights from my vaca time in East vs. West. . . move over Chicago ;) LA: - spending time with my sister :) - eating the most absolute delish bento box at Yashima - dining next to Anne Heche and crew at Primotivo in Venice - trying Pinkberry and Beard Papa's for the first time - shopping away by using up some of my gift cards . . . all of course, essential purchases ;) - surviving the heat wave in Cali NYC/the "Big Apple": -fine dining at Union Square cafe -watching Justine Henin beat Serena Williams at the US Open. . . Williams is truly a beast and all you see on the court is her leggage and Justine is just amazing on the ct. - seeing my very first broadway show, Avenue Q - singing our hearts out at karaoke in k-town 2 nights in a row: "Umbrella", "Say It Right", "Miracle", & "Here (In My Arms)" - eating Pinkberry two nights in a row - eating xia long bao (soup dumplings) at Joe's Shanghai/Ginger - walking around like a NY'er - perfect timing for everything |
